Civil construction qualifications span a range of AQF levels, from a Certificate III in Civil Construction through to a Diploma of Civil Construction Design, so duration depends on the level you choose. A Certificate III typically runs around 6 to 12 months, while a Diploma usually takes roughly 1 to 2 years of full-time study.
Indicative tuition reflects that range: lower-level certificate courses commonly sit between AUD 8,000 and 18,000, while a Diploma tends to be higher, often into the higher tens of thousands depending on the provider and city. Most providers offer several intakes a year, commonly around February, April or May, July and October.
